About Midsummer

Midsummer is a Swedish solar energy company that develops and manufactures lightweight, flexible solar cells with a carbon footprint that is about 90% lower than traditional solar panels. We control the entire value chain – from raw materials to finished product.

In addition to our own production, Midsummer develops and sells complete production systems for manufacturing flexible thin-film solar cells to customers around the world. Through high-tech expertise, innovative solutions, and a strong sustainability focus, Midsummer contributes to a more sustainable energy supply globally.

Your responsibilities

As an operator, you will exclusively work with the production of solar cells. The role is practical and requires precision, responsibility, and technical interest.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Handling automated and semi-automated production processes
• Manufacturing and assembling solar cells in various stages of the process
• Working with small details that require precision and quality thinking
• Monitoring processes and reporting deviations
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient production flow

The job requires that you can work both independently and in a team, as well as take responsibility for your work after the introduction.

Your profile

• You have a clear technical interest and the ability to work with and understand production processes in manufacturing
• You can read, understand, and work from technical instructions and job descriptions
• You are proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Experience from industrial production, preferably with tasks that require precision and quality control, as well as relevant education is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious. You work in a structured manner, follow instructions, and take personal responsibility after the introduction. You have a safety-conscious approach to work and understand the importance of working according to established routines. At the same time, you are a team player with good collaboration skills, flexible in the face of change, and have an interest in technology and production.
